Announcement of Cham Shan Temple Reopening

Cham Shan Temple is scheduled to reopen to the public on July 21, 2020. The Temple will be open daily from 9am to 6pm. The Temple will reinforce social distancing rules and other infection control measures set out by the Provincial Government. In order to create a safe place of worship for all patrons, please also be conscious of the below rules when entering the temple.

 


 

Entrance rules:

 


 

1. Before entering the Temple, all patrons should wear masks and gloves accordingly.

 

2. Parking location: there are two dedicated parking locations, the underground garage and the parking lot to the right of the main gate. Please follow ground staff’s instructions to park your vehicle in an orderly manner.

 

3. Upon entering the Temple, patrons should follow the instructions on the signs to go to the Di Zang Hall for disinfection and inspection. After that, please go to the Pu Xian Hall on the left to measure body temperature before entering other Halls for worship.

 

4. Before entering the inspection area, all patrons need to wear the medical gloves provided by the Temple.

 

5. For the safety of other patrons and the working staff, the Temple will not accept anyone who is displaying the following symptoms or has been in contact of someone with the following symptoms:

 

Fever, cough, loss of taste and/or smell, flu-like symptoms, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath and fatigue. The Temple also will not accept anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

 

6. In accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Health of Ontario, please keep a physical distance of at least 2 meters when inside the Temple.

 

7. During the pandemic, Wu Guan Tang will not be providing meals to patrons. Please remember to bring your own drinking water.

 

8. When inside the temple, please be conscious of public hygiene and remember to put any garbage in the trash.

 

9. Please do not gather around and leave in an orderly manner after worship.
